Individual artist’s book produced for Codex Event 8: An Australian / British collaboration of pulp-printing, installationand artists’ books with Sarah Bodman, Paul Laidler, Tim Mosely, Monica Oppen and Tom Sowden, 2011-2012.
Produced after a two-week residency at Queensland College of Art, Griffith University, Brisbane, working with Tim Mosley and Paul Laidler, on an installation at POP Gallery, Brisbane, the resulting sheets of paper made from the wall scrapings of the installation were sent to each artist to produce a book by March 2012. Our theme was the urban jungle, moving between smooth and striated space as defined by Deleuze and Guattari’s explorations in their publication 'A Thousand Plateaus'. |
