Six Issues of Ern Malley's Journal were published between 1952-1955.
This issue is Vol. 2, No. 1, May 1955. Interestingly, in the first article Max Harris responds to the Dr J. Robert Oppenheimer speech that was published in The Manchester Guardian (30/12/54). It was a speech given by J. Robert Oppenheimer, director of the Institute for Advanced Study, on December 26, 1954, which dealt with the relationship between art and science. |
