| "…I was trying to change what I do. I'd sleep-walked through photography only to find myself on the island of photomontage. I would add a part on one image to a part of another. I would add and add, all within a single frame; all within a correct perspective; so an image made of various components would end up looking like an actual photograph. I was stranded. But how to change? Go in the opposite direction!
