The ambition of the artists, Guille, Buss and Off– a world death dance. The setting chosen is a shopping mall. Death enters the mall and dazzled by the lights, the glittering merchandise, becomes victim to a spending spree but then realises he is completely a home and can continue his 'work' here. The themes of the poem cut through the absurdity of the means of production in our society, the inequality between the global North and South and the destructive consequences of our economic system on humanity and environment, truly a dance of death. |
