| "'Book Club' brings together book-related artworks by a group of contemporary artists who recognise the power of books as a medium in their artistic practice. Few of the volumes in the exhibition, however, appear as their conventional selves, intact. Spines have been broken. They are dismembered, pierced, pulped, spliced, burned, wound-up, counterfeited and implied ... some even birthing new forms from their own."
