The exhibition was shown at the Cabinet du livre d'artiste at the Université Rennes 2, France 10 December 2015 – 3 March 2016 "'Une histoire du livre d'artiste australien' is the second major exhibition of Australian artists' books to travel to international venues. The selection comes from the Centre for the Artist Book collection in Brisbane and was made in consultation with Aurélie Noury from Cabinet du livre d'artiste, who expressed a preference for books produced by the artist and made available in unlimited editions. The unique book and the limited edition book were excluded. 'Une histoire du livre d'artiste australien' is not a survey exhibition of Australian artists' books from the last forty or so years. It is simply an attempt to expose international audiences to some of the ways Australian artists approach the book."
